Give to a specific fund- focusing on moms, natural disasters, HIV/AIDS, and more. We have a variety of ways to target hunger.
Hurricane Sandy devastated parts of New York City, which FEED calls home. 1 in 5 New Yorkers regularly rely on a food bank or soup kitchen, and Hurricane Sandy has only added to the struggle to make ends meet, as food is scarce in communities without power or infrastructure. The FEED NYC Relief Fund supports organizations providing emergency meals to people in the hardest-hit areas of the city. 100% of the donations to the fund will go directly to local food banks.
The FEED Nutrients Fund provides children with strategic nutrient support. Chronic malnutrition often persists not only because of a lack of food, but because of the lack of nutritious food. Strategic interventions such as micronutrient powder, Vitamin A supplements, and Plumpy'Nut are essential in giving children the nutrition they need to develop. By giving to the FEED Nutrients Fund, you are providing children with the nutrition they need to grow up healthy and strong. Potential recipients of this fund includes: UNICEF's Micro-Nutrient Powder program and Vitamin-A program, and Edesia's Plumpy'Nut program.
The worst drought in 60 years threatens an already struggling people in Somalia and its neighboring countries in the parched Horn of Africa. Man-made problems like rising food prices, a crippled economy, and a lack of central government have only heightened the devastating effects of this natural disaster. FEED Africa Emergency Fund supports organizations like UNICEF and the World Food Programme that are providing emergency food and critical services to the more than ten million children and families who urgently need aid. Potential recipients of this fund includes: WFP, UNICEF, and grassroots organizations working to alleviate chronic hunger in East Africa.
The FEED Love Fund gives food with ARV drugs, ARV drugs, and school meals in areas of the world that are greatly affected by HIV/AIDS. With the help of ARV drugs, those living with HIV/AIDS can live full and productive lives; however, the drugs are ineffective if they aren't taken with food. By giving to this fund, you have helped improve the lives of those living with HIV/AIDS. Potential recipients of this fund includes: WFP & the Global Fund.

On DonorsChoose.org, public school teachers from every corner of America post classroom project requests online, which enables donors to fund any project that they want to succeed. Potential recipients of this fund includes: DonorsChoose.org.
The FEED Peace Fund supports school meals and the destruction of weapons in areas of conflict. In war-torn countries such as Sudan and the Congo, the stabilizing effect of school meals and education gives hope to future generations. Destroying guns decreases the violence so often prevalent in areas where terror and bloodshed reign. By giving to the FEED Peace Fund, you are helping bring a peaceful future to children in areas of conflict.
